Lamar Students approve fee

The final results are in.

1,016 students (79%)'yes'
278 (21%)'no'

I'm actually surprised at the overwhelming 'yes' vote. I thought it would of been a little closer.

I'm especially pleased though of the outcome. This area needs a 'good' college football program.

According to news reports the return of football would also require substantial private donations and approval from the Texas State University System board of regents.

If anyone knows how to make private donations, please let me know. I would like to include the address on this site.
