FBI Requested for Incident at Beaumont Federal Prison

A spokeswoman for the Beaumont FBI confirms the agency has been called in to assist with an incident at the Beaumont Federal Prison. They would not give details as to the nature of the incident.
We have at least 2 separate unconfirmed reports from family members of staff inside the unit that two guards were stabbed, one multiple times. We have a crew at the facility located on West Port Arthur Road and they were ordered off the scene after seeing a number of armed guards outside the fence of the unit. We will bring you more details as they become available.
