City of Nederand recieves grant

The City of Nederland received notice that it has been awarded $156,665.02 in Homeland Security grant funds.

Of this amount, the Police Department will receive $68,000 for the purchase of police car cameras and related video equipment.

The Fire Department will receive $88,065.02 for the purchase of laptop computers for fire trucks and rescue training expenses.
