Plaintiff Claims Lumberton Alcohol Election Unfair to Spanish-Speaking Voters

This is a huge development if the allegations are indeed true.

KBTV - 4 is reporting the following concerns:

1. Hardin County did not provide proof of publication in a newspaper of general circulation.

2. The county failed to provide election materials in Spanish, which prevented non-English speaking voters the opportunity to participate fully in the electoral process.

3. The plaintiff prays for a declaratory judgment that the local option election is void.

Be watching this story.

When you voted in the last election in November were there materials in spanish at your polling location?

of course everything was in spanish at the polling places as the law requires. These are false allegations just like the earlier ones with the petition and they will be thrown out. This plaintiff does not even speak spanish and has no grounds to say she was left out of anything because of spanish (although there was nothing to be left out of anyways cause everything was done right)
