School Closures

According to KBTV 4 the following schools are closed.

Officials with The Catholic Schools of Diocese in Beaumont, say that school will remain closed through Wednesday because of the storm, but are expected, at this time, to re-open on Thursday at regular hours.

Lamar-Orange and Lamar University-Beaumont will re-open Wednesday .
BISD has canceled classes until Thursday.

Port Arthur ISD and Beaumont Cathedral in the Pines have canceled classes for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Buna and all other Jasper County ISD schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

All Hardin County schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Burkeville ISD, Evadale and Newton ISD have all canceled classes for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Deweyville ISD, Jasper ISD, and Living Waters Christian School in Beaumont will be closed through Wednesday,

Brookeland ISD will be closed on Tuesday.

Tekoa Academy in Port Arthur and Orange will have a teachers work day on Thursday; school resumes on Monday.
