Tonight, the Nederland City Council voted to not enact a smoking ban within the City of Nederland.
According to sources, after a lengthy discussion, Councilman Neal made a motion to NOT impose the ban Seconded by Councilman Sawyer. Motion carried with 4-1 vote, Councilman Rogers casting the only desending vote.
