Paper Ballots and the Jeff Co. Democratic Primary

I have recieved numerous phone calls and emails in regards to the Democratic Party choosing to use paper ballots this time around in the March Primary.

According to sources in the County Clerk's office, during early voting electronic voting machines will be used.

On Election Day, you will have the option to use paper ballots or electronic voting machines.

I will say it seemed like nobody knew what the heck was going on though.

This came to my attention on Tuesday night. I was told that this subject was discussed at a recent Jefferson County Democratic Party meeting. The candidates who attended were told that the electronic voting machines needed parts and these parts were no longer available. So paper ballots were going to be used.
