KBTV 4 is reporting that a new dress code has been voted in favor of within the Nederland Independent School District.
The acceptable attire for both the Middle and high schools students will be solid colored oxford or polo shirts. Pants or shorts that must be navy, black, denim, or khaki.
No logos, labels, designs, patterns or numbers will be allowed on shirts.
The report states that the board hopes that by enacting a dress code will decrease student referrals and make it a better learning environment for students.
