Why I'm not in favor of giving EDC money to the roads

Is simply because there is money already budgeted for the roads. To me, taking away money from the EDC is not good business. Folks, Southeast Texas is about to boom once again. Why in the world would you take away money from the EDC; KNOWING that the EDC can make the city money by bringing in business and adding jobs to the economy.

Another very important reason that I will not vote for this issue is because it is not good for the future of our city.

Not that anyone knows but voting takes place at Nederland City Hall.

The council does not want you to know that. Go vote.

Keep in mind there is another election coming up in May 2008.
