School Bond Issue coming soon!

That's what I'm hearing in Nederland. Everyone is preparing for the 3 to 5 years of growth. All I can say is thank God our schools are preparing. That should be on the ballot in November or May.

In other news, I was told that the property located in front of the Medical Center of Southeast Texas was sold. Not sure of the accuracy, but who cares. Something needs to be built there fast. We are running out of restaurants and hotels. HA

Property on HWY 69 in Nederland = Who cares. I don't. Remember people, the council wants to take money away from the EDC. I urge all citizens to vote against the propsal in November. If this passes, which I hope it does not, will all but close the EDC and will tell every citizen in Nederland that the current council has given up on building whatever they wanted to build. But hey who am I kidding? If it does pass the council will blame it on the citizens for passing it. Life is good in Nederland.

I assume everyone read my post about another big business moving out of Nederland. One question though. Since Oscar isn't the Mayor of Port Arthur, who will the Nederland City Council blame? Back when Oscar was Mayor, it was said that Oscar just flat out stole Mid Jefferson Hospital and Walmart from Nederland, if you didn't know.

So Council, who do you blame now? Oscar Ortiz?

Hope everyone has a great weeeknd.
