In a decision that was forced by the Jefferson County clerk, the Port Neches City Council voted to approve an agreement with Diebold Election Systems, Inc. to provide their services in '08 at a price tag around $6,700 dollars.
On a side note, look for the cities of Nederland and Groves to follow. Below is some information in regards to this company. No electronic voting machine is secure. All computers are open to all sorts of hacking. You make your mind up to trust it or not. But it's hear to stay.
