My Observations

My Observations
by

On Election Day, I arrived at the Central Counting Station around 7:50 p.m. Of course, still no early totals as of that time.
So I went to observe the situation outside. There were numerous election day judges in line waiting to drop off the ballot box's.

"Witnesses tell me that one judge almost tripped and much to their surprise they noticed a box not sealed." (not that anyone cares but that is illegal) Hey, its Jefferson County!

I then went inside had a seat visted with a few media representives for about one hour. Impatiently, I went back outside to see what was going on. And then it happened!
Even more judges are arriving and its passed 9:00p.m. The excuses the judges gave me were:
  • No help
  • Didn't know how to close the polls
  • Had "numerous" problems with the machines
  • Had people in line to vote until 8:00 p.m.
  • They were hungry

There is no accountability. I'm sure there are guidelines in place set by the State of Texas. Who's not abiding by them?

Voting is in a crisis. Something has to change!
